Events Coordinator – RHS Bridgewater, Royal Horticultural Society, closes 30 July

As the UK’s leading garden charity, their ethos is to ensure members and visitors have an amazing experience when they visit us.

They are passionate about their exciting events programme at Bridgewater and already have delivered a full programme of events from first Glow to the RHS’ first LGBTQ+ event. The friendly team at RHS Bridgewater are now looking to expand the team to help deliver an even fuller programme of events at Bridgewater, helping attract new visitors as well as drive repeat visits and income generation.

They are looking for a collaborative individual to help us deliver and expand our wide-ranging public programme of events.  You will have experience of planning and delivering public events, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organisational abilities and a flexible and positive approach to ensuring that all events are high quality, safely delivered and audience focused.

A strong commitment to equality and diversity and a commitment to putting our members, visitors and communities at the heart of everything they do.

You will have a passion for gardening, horticulture and the natural world and want to inspire everyone to grow through our diverse and accessible programme of events.

The role will report to the Events Manager and will also work within the Events team as well as the teams at the other four RHS gardens on the cross-garden programme of visitor events.

They will be actively interviewing applicants and will close the vacancy once a suitable candidate has been appointed.

Details of their great benefits can be found here.

Safeguarding and Inclusion

The RHS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk and expects all personnel to share in this commitment. They are an inclusive employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
