Legs on Wheels Legroom Lp has been in the works for quite some time now. Writing, recording, mixing, mastering, artwork…it’s all finished.
The first single has been released, with a second soon to follow. They have a limited run of CDs printed and ready to share. All that’s left is to get the album pressed to vinyl — which is where we need your help.
Making an album isn’t cheap. They’re not ashamed to say that making Legroom has thoroughly cleaned out the band’s coffers. They never hesitated to spend whatever was necessary, to help the album reach its true potential. And even with the incredible assistance from the Help Musicians “Do It Differently” fund, the amount of studio time needed for both recording and mixing the album, along with the top-notch mastering job that followed, has left them with very little cash to put towards the costs of vinyl pressing.
However, they believe most recorded music — and especially the kind they like to play — is best enjoyed on this format. The warm-hearted splendour of analogue sound; the tons of extra room for glorious artwork; the thrill of dropping the needle and waiting for what comes next…After the months and months of hard work that has gone into making Legroom, it would mean the world to them to be able to present it to you in its optimal format. And they know many of their fans would want it this way too.
