If you’re new to, or are thinking about returning to education, Blackburne House is the perfect place to study. They provide over 1000 learning opportunities each year and their specialist Tutors and Support Team will equip you with the skills and confidence to succeed with your studies.
They provide a safe, welcoming and diverse environment and strive to remove barriers to education for women. This includes offering fully funded courses for learners who earn a low wage or are in receipt of means-tested benefits.
SUMMER SCHOOL AT BLACKBURNE HOUSE
This summer at Blackburne House, they are offering an exciting opportunity to gain a qualification in supporting your children to learn. The course will take place over 3 days from 10am – 3pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday within the month of August. We have 3 start dates available.
Childcare will be provided for children up to 14, so your children can have fun while you meet new people and learn new things!
Snacks and lunch will be provided, and our Summer School places are fully funded.
You will study:
How to help with English homework
Arts and crafts
Creative, imaginative play
IT for learning
Letter writing
How to manage screen time
Break up the long school holidays, make new friends, and do something different at Blackburne House!

No qualifications needed – open to women aged 18+ who live in the Liverpool City Region.
