🎠Arts Groupie are going to Edinburgh Fringe – but they need your help.
ArtsGroupie is a Liverpool-based, working-class collective making waves in arts & heritage—since 2018, wtheyve produced 9 plays, including Kitty, Queen of the Washhouse, which alone has sold over 7,000 tickets. This year, they’re delivering 75 free community events.
But here’s the thing: they’ve done all this without core funding. They work project-to-project, often struggling to be taken seriously outside of Liverpool for being Scousers.
This summer, they’ve been invited to take two powerful shows to the Edinburgh Fringe – a massive opportunity to put working-class Scouse artists on the map.
💥 The Hammer and Helena – the true story of a woman who defied a witch hunter and sparked centuries of persecution.
🕯 Ghost Stories by Candlelight – their beloved, sell-out series reviving the lost tradition of live ghost storytelling.
They’re raising £7,000 to cover accommodation, travel, and production costs. If you believe arts should be for everyone – not just those with connections – please donate and share.
Even the smallest donation can make a big difference.
