Senior Officer, Governance and Planning

Contract: Fixed Term for 18 months working 35 hours per week

Salary: £32,615 per annum, plus excellent benefits

Location: Manchester

Arts Council England is looking for a Senior Officer, Governance and Planning in Manchester. This governance role will suit someone with planning models and operations experience. It’s a full-time role, and it comes with a salary of £32,615 p/a and some excellent company benefits.

In this inclusive governance officer role, you will support their Chief Operating Officer’s department in liaising with their Government sponsor team.

If you were currently working for them in this governance officer position, these are some of the things you would have been doing this week:

  • Playing a lead role in monitoring the implementation of the Arts Council’s agreement with their Government sponsor
  • Producing management information and regular progress reports against Government priorities and KPIs
  • Playing a key liaison role in regular progress meetings with our sponsor department

To apply, you will need to be comfortable working in a dynamic environment managing multiple priorities to deliver to deadlines. Previous planning analyst experience would be beneficial.

You will also require the following:

  • Experience using data to derive insight and information for reporting and experience producing corporate performance reports
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and time management skills
  • A flexible, innovative and inclusive approach to tasks and the ability to work on your own initiative
