Established and budding musicians are invited to share videos to take part in Tickle the Ivories from home.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the much-loved piano busking festival – Tickle the Ivories. Every year, Liverpool ONE proudly provideS and maintainS pianos across their shopping areas for budding musicians and professionals alike to play in the open air, bringing hours upon hours of entertainment for
visitors to enjoy. Through the years famous faces like Diana Krall have taken to the keys, as well as viral performer 12-year-old Harrison whose video was watched over a million times on social media.
Liverpool ONE know how much Tickle the Ivories raises the spirits of visitors so this year, as they ask you to stay at home, they’re bringing you the best of Tickle on their social media channels, and have asked some of our favourite performers to play along. They’d love you to join in as well – if you or someone you know plays and can help spread a little cheer, send your clips to either one of the Liverpool ONE social media channels, or email [email protected].
And don’t forget, once we’re all back up and running they’d love all those supporting online to experience the real thing and help make the next festival the best one yet!
