It might be one small step for a Giant but the team need you to make a Giant leap if you want to walk in the footsteps of Giants!
They are recruiting an army of volunteers to help give a warm scouse welcome to our special Giant visitors on their final visit to Merseyside. From runners and translators to Benevols and Liliputians – if you want to get involved, be part of the legacy and make memories that will last a lifetime then they want to hear from you.
They have a variety of specialist roles which we need support with so if you can drive, speak French or have experience in physiotherapy then do apply to join the team. They need big feet and little feet to form the human chain that guides the Giant visitors as they explore Liverpool and Wirral – comfortable shoes are needed but if you can take a giant stride or three to keep up then walk this way.
Without the Lilliputians the Giant guests would struggle to keep on the move – forming a close relationship with the Giants they have exclusive opportunities to join the team on their visit and help them manouvre on their final visit.
There are a variety of roles available to suit everyone and this year they have partnered with Liverpool ONE so when you become a volunteer you are officially registered as a City Star, not only making the Giant visitors welcome but you are acting as an ambassador of the city.
If you want to join the team, applications have to be submitted by 5.00pm on Tuesday 31st July 2018 – visit Giantspectacular.com to find out more.
