As UK Theatre celebrates #InspiringFutureTheatre Day on Wednesday 11 July, young theatre-makers can now apply to be a part of the Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse’s Young Everyman Playhouse (YEP) Programme for 2018.
The six-strand programme is designed to develop and nurture young theatre makers of the future, through a hands-on course giving YEP members real-life experience of working in regional theatre.
With the guidance of experienced theatre staff aspiring actors, directors, technicians, producers, writers and marketers are given the opportunity to learn new skills, working on real-time productions throughout the course.
YEP students are given the opportunity to gain valuable experience in their chosen area by shadowing professional directors, developing ideas for new plays, setting up sound and lighting for shows, working with artistic teams to produce performances and designing material to market productions to audiences.
Closing dates vary depending on the programme strand. For more information and to apply visit www.everymanplayhouse.com/YEP.
