An evening of uplifting and inspiring performances to mark and celebrate one hundred years since ‘some’ women won the right to vote.
The evening will consist of powerful solo performances from singers Chantel Coleman and Daisy Gill and spoken word artists Rochelle Ellis and Raven Rahda plus The Ukulala’s, a female Ukulele duo. The highlight of the evening will be the 100 strong female choir formed of individuals from many different communities and women’s organisations.
The organisations include Liverpool Pride Volunteers, Refugee Women Connect, Imagine Knowsley Bridge, Liverpool Domestic Abuse Service, The S Word, John Paul II Polish Saturday School in Liverpool, Kaboodle Choir, Liverpool socialist singers Spirit Level and Hope Street Harmonies.
All tickets purchased or donations made (£5 or more on the door) will be entered into a prize draw which has some wonderful prizes courtesy of The Buyers Club, Fredericks, The Blackburne Pub and Eatery, Jennifer John Music and Blackburne House.
