This course is for children who love making art, want to broaden their drawing and creative techniques or would like to build confidence in bringing their imaginations to life.
dot-art club is a relaxing and fun space for nurturing ideas by experimenting with expressive drawing, colour, form, shape and pattern.
Take part in lots of creative activities, including:
- Mark-making games
- Paint to music
- Make optical illusion art
- Draw graffiti words
- Learn simple printmaking techniques
Over the 6 weeks you will compose giant creations from your new creative skills and grow your confidence as a young artist.

Tutor: Denise Wright
Denise Wright is a Liverpool based children’s and families artist and artist educator who uses playful and open-ended processes for nurturing children’s inner artist and self-expression. Denise has years of experience in creating unique art with community groups and with children of all ages in schools and art galleries.
Denise Wright has achieved a BA Hons Fine Art and Design, a PGCE and a PhD Arts-based education. Denise has worked with young people in a creative role for over a decade and is a practicing artist herself.
All staff are fully DBS checked and insured.

Cost
£95 for a Block. The full course must be booked in advance.

All materials will be provided. Children are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks for the session.
