Hot Water Comedy Club – As Seen On TV

Venue 45 Hardman Street
Admission Free
Start Time 19:00
End Time 20:30

These shows will feature a recognisable TV name closing every show with an extended 30 minute set. We will also be using this night as a new material night for more established comedians & a trial night for comedians who we haven’t had the pleasure of seeing perform yet. These acts will always be ones who are playing all the big clubs throughout the UK.

Who’s Performing

Danny McLoughlin

Danny McLoughlin has the sharp wit & material, likeable persona and strong stage presence that have seen him become a much sought after act in his short time as a stand up.

A finalist in the Chortle Student Comedian of The Year in 2008, Danny went on to perform as part of the prestigious Big Value Comedy Show during Edinburgh Festival 2009.

He also supported Al Pitcher on his UK Tour and is booked by some of the UK’s biggest gigs and promoters.

It has been a rapid rise for Danny and it all looks set to continue. With an amiable, confident stage presence and a well written set Danny delivers material with more than just an immediate pay-off line, preferring to take the joke one or two steps further.

Confident enough to take a risk on stage he does so not to the detriment of the audience, keeping them laughing along or hanging on every word

Alex Maureen

‘Alex Maureen up and coming often hospitalised comedian with barbed one liners and camp tales. Often described as ‘The best thing to come out of Kensington since the 10A’
Doctors said Alex shouldn’t have lived past 5. He’s defied all odds with one working lung and a bent spine. Which comes in handy in otterspool car park.’
Daliso Chaponda

Daliso began his comedy career in Canada with the acclaimed one man show ‘Feed This Black Man’.

Following this, he began honing his craft in comedy clubs across Canada. Highlights included appearing on the Trans Canada Comedy Trail TV show and perfoming a One-Man character comedy about a torturer titled ‘Incisions’. Before leaving Canada Daliso appeared in the 2005 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and he used this exposure to secure an agent in South Africa.

+ Adam Staunton, Jake Steers, Sam Ely.
