Suzuki presents @The Drive In with four dates in Liverpool this summer. The first film screening will be the classic 1970s disaster movie Jaws.
The eagerly awaited series invites passengers of all ages to pull up, sit back and enjoy blockbuster movies and games. The event will be held at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, 26 – 30 August. You can purchase tickets here.
Not just a trip out to the movies, they offer the ultimate entertainment experience for the socially distant era, as passengers enjoy a programme of interactive games, comedy and food and drink delivery at the touch of a button.
The events will feature screenings played out on a top-of-the-range LED screen with audio played directly into car radios. Movies are a selection of retro classics and critically-acclaimed hits for all ages including Grease, Back To The Future, Joker, A Star Is Born, Toy Story and Lion King.
A number of interactive games will have audiences dancing and honking their horns as Suzuki hosts Lucky Licence Plates, a car-themed take on bingo with prizes to be won; Suzuki Dance Cam which encourages passengers to bust a move on screen; and Suzuki Says, which sees drivers reaching in unison for the hazards, full beam, wipers and culminating in a wave of headlights.
They have joined forces with the award winning stand-up comedy production Jericho Comedy to enlist the very best comedians for each stop of the summer tour.
The summer line-up features an accomplished list of performers who have appeared on the likes of Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Have I Got News For You and Live at the Apollo and include Lou Sanders, Ahir Shah, Alex Farrow, Chelsea Birkby and more.
