Like it, lump it, we are all connected

Start Time 10:00
End Time 17:00

Socially engaged artist Beth Barlow works with community collaborators to consider how each person, animal, action, mineral or vegetable are deeply connected. She explores these ideas through crocheted art works inspired by the rolling news.

The ideas around connectivity have found their expression in the creation of circles, each one a distinct body but each one bound to the next to create a striking installation.

The work seen in The Williamson Art Gallery and Museum will continue to grow through connections with communities. Join Beth on the 19th of September or the 13th/14th of October between 11am and 4pm in the Williamson Cafe.

If you have a crochet hook bring it with you or if you have a particular yarn that you might like to use please bring it along, but Beth will also have a suitcase of selected yarns and some spare crochet hooks.

The Williamson Art Gallery is open Wednesday-Sunday 10am-5pm
