Learn how to re-purpose your old clothes to make a summer scrunchie!

Nikki from Swings and Loungeabouts will be at Make North Docks for the Summer Arkade this August, running her popular “Summer Scrunchie” workshop!

Learn how to repurpose old clothes / materials to make a beautiful scrunchie.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities including complete beginners. Nikki will show you how to use a sewing machine at the start of the session (sewing machines provided).

All materials and equipment provided – unless you would prefer to bring along some of your own old clothes or materials to use.

Nikki is the founder of Swings & Loungeabouts. She designs fabulous homeware, accessories and clothing. She works on @madebymake commissions and runs regular introduction to sewing workshops.

What is the Summer Arkade?

The Summer Arkade is a free makers market hosted by Make CIC and Invisible wind Factory. Visitors to this summer shopping event can expect an abundance of independent stall holders, summery cocktails, tasty food, activities for the whole family, themed craft workshops and of course music and entertainment throughout the whole day.
