One Woman is the film exploration of how Cheryl Martin’s mental health was shaped as a reaction to childhood abuse and trauma, and how she transcended it.
The event is held online, 31 October, 7pm-9.30pm. You can book here.
In this newly produced digital version of the play, the use of binaural sound, mesmeric images and music takes the audience inside how it feels to live with Borderline Personality Disorder.
Cheryl Martin is an older black lesbian disabled theatre artist (that’s right she hit the jackpot!) who’s won awards as writer and director. In 2018 she was Homotopia Festival’s Guest Curator and we’re excited to welcome her back.
This screening will be accompanied by a Q&A session with Cheryl.
