For their third and final screening as part of this year’s Scalarama, Liverpool Horror Club screen zombie classic Night of the Living Dead, with a live score performed by local musicians.
50 years ago, Romero’s classic movie changed the landscape of modern horror cinema. It was very much a movie of its time – bringing forth the social undercurrents and racial commentary which was very present in America during that period.
The screening will also feature an accompanying poster exhibition, showcasing the work of 15+ local artists created especially for the event. Tickets cost £6 from the link above.
All attendees will receive a free A3 event poster created by the wonderfully talented Uncle Frank Productions.
