A man searches tirelessly for his missing son who he has not seen in years.

When a body is located, the entire family’s life is turned upside-down and they must all learn how to reconnect with one another.

Based on the short story ‘Triple Word Score’ by scriptwriter Frank Cottrell Boyce, this quirky and moving dramedy tells the story of a family with an exceptional Scrabble vocabulary who cannot put their words to use and communicate with each other. Bill Nighy stars as Alan, a father on a journey to reconnect with his two sons.
