An introduction to animation, aimed at artists who would like to bring movement into their creative practice.
The workshop will investigate the different ways to approach stop motion animation – including an introduction to accessible apps for phone and tablet, which can help bring a variety of mediums to life.
This workshop is a great opportunity for artists to experiment with any pre-existing work, which they would like to bring life to through animation.
However, art materials to create new visual content will be supplied during the workshop for those looking to create something from scratch.
Participants are encouraged to bring tablets or phones, which they can use to capture their animations, as well as any artwork and/or objects they wish to animate or materials they wish to work with.
