The Charlatans are one of the most successful British bands of the last three decades; a new exhibition dedicated to their story is at the British Music Experience from September 2018 – January 2019.
The exhibition builds on the band’s own North By North West Festival, held earlier this year in Northwich, and will feature all things Charlatans-related owned by the band themselves; including instruments, scrapbooks, handwritten lyrics, and a variety of memorabilia from their personal archives.
Opening night on 10 September will feature a live set from Tim Burgess and Mark Collins, with other special events throughout the duration of the exhibition. Keep an eye on the venue’s social media pages – linked at the top of this page – for more information about these as it’s released.
Many exhibits, posters and gold discs will be free to view in the foyer and cafe bar; the rest of the exhibition is ticketed. Ticket price includes an exclusive exhibition print, and a full range of merchandise is available.
