Since 2014 DaDaFest have delivered an annual lecture to keep alive the passion and fire demonstrated by Edward Rushton, a poet, activist, abolitionist and disabled man.
The lecture is free and held online, 7pm, 3 December, booking is essential. You can book here.
It will be online this year, but promises to be as fascinating as ever: Keynote speaker, Deborah Williams, will be giving a performance lecture on the subject ‘The Language of Disability’ before joining a discussion with a panel of invited guests including Ono Dafedjaiye and Marie Tidbal.
The event will consist of:
· a key note lecture delivered by Deborah (approx. 45 mins)
· a break (15-20 mins) where attendees will get an opportunity to wander round the rooms in the virtual space
· a Panel Discussion looking in more depth at the issues raised during the lecture.
The Panellists will be Deborah Williams, Ono Dafedjaiye, Marie Tidball.
