A multi-media exhibition asking what’s it like to be sixteen years old now? The exhibition is hosted by various North West venues.
You can find out more about how a group of year ten students have curated their own iteration of Sixteen at Ellesmere Port Library. It is also the last chance to catch Sixteen at Tate Exchange in Liverpool. This multimedia project brings together leading contemporary photographers with more than 170 young people from diverse communities across the country.
Together they have created a series of vox pops that explore the hopes and fears of today’s sixteen year-olds. These give prominence to voices rarely heard, exhibition closes 25 August.
In Southport at The Atkinson Gallery, you can also take part in your own intergenerational Sixteen themed project with University of Salford graduate Emily Bryant.
