St Luke’s Church, commonly known as the Bombed Out Church, was badly damaged during the Liverpool Blitz in 1941, and remains as a roofless shell. It now stands as a memorial to those who were lost in the war.

Since 2007 the church has been operating as a managed ruin and multidisciplinary arts venue with a programme of events, community engagement and creative learning projects.
