Bid Writer
Key skills and experience:
-
- A proven track record of raising funds via bid writing
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage own workload and work to tight funding deadlines
- Strong marketing skills
- Experience of fundraising/bid writing in a busy charity/third sector environment
- Experience of applying to trusts and foundations as well as statutory fundraising bodies
- An understanding of the social and economic issues and barriers affecting people living
in L8
Event Project Manager
Key skills and experience:
-
- Creative project management skills
- Strong marketing skills
- A passion for working at a grass roots level in local communities
- Experience of putting on events, from planning to delivery, with a proven track record of event management for at least 400 delegates
- Experience preparing event budgets
- Raising income for events via corporate sponsorship
- Working within a charity/third sector organisation
- An understanding of the social and economic issues and barriers to participation
affecting people in L8 - Experience of managing volunteer led activity
