Liverpool’s annual street piano busking festival Tickle the Ivories is back! From 20 July – 30 September, music will be heard right across Liverpool ONE and Open Culture are looking for performers who might like to take part in this year’s event.
Professionals and amateurs can get involved by booking a slot to perform on, or around, one of the six pianos; over the last seven years hundreds of musicians, choirs, dance groups and even theatre groups have taken part. Don’t miss the opportunity to show off your skills and share your love of music – all performers are also licensed to busk, so it’s also a great chance to raise money for your favourite cause (or for yourself!)
Complete the online form here and tell us all about your act and preferred performance dates and times. Bookings can be made for any day of the week.
If you’re a charity, please email joshua.mcmahon@liverpool-one.com to apply for a charity collection licence.
Please provide ten days’ notice when suggesting dates.
All acts agree to abide by the Performers Code of Practice. Read it here.
Once you have submitted your form, a member of the team will be in touch as soon as possible to discuss your act and confirm performance times and dates with you.
If you have any questions, contact Open Culture on 0151 478 4066 or by email to chris@culture.org.uk.
