Bluecoat Display Centre have announced the relaunch of their new online shop, which is now open.
The online shop will support the Bdc and their incredible community of makers whilst trading still remains challenging.
They’ve started by stocking the online shelves with selected works from their current Limited Editions display plus retail makers, some of whom are supplying work directly from their home studios.
Featured makers include Helen Beard, Linda Bloomfield, Helen Chatterton, Chung Tyson, Stephanie Davies, Karsten Erikson, Paul Finch, For Me & For You, Reiko Kaneko, David Mellor Design, Hannah Nunn, Helen Shere and Michael Taylor,
Over the coming months, when their full staff are able to return, the shop will grow to feature many more makers to offer customers near and far an alternative to visiting the gallery.
The redesign will also include a new dedicated area of the site for community outreach work as well as online workshop activities.
All areas of the site will be refreshed and updated including their maker’s profiles, In the Window and main displays. When their events resume tickets will be available to book and pay for online too.
Please keep in mind when ordering online from the shop that supply from makers is still affected, postal services can be slower than normal and their staff are very limited but they are aiming to deliver available stock within 7 days.
They are open Thursday – Saturday 11am – 4.30pm via their College Lane entrance gate and private viewing appointments can be booked by phone or email.
Jacob Chan ceramics look resplendent In the Window and will be there for the month of July so head along and take a look and support the work of this talented young local ceramic artist.
