The Independents’ Biennial is the sister festival to the Liverpool Biennial,shining a light on the local artists, local galleries and local places that make this region such a brilliant place to make and see great art. It runs from 14 July until 28 October.
Art in Liverpool are producing the four month festival with production partners including; Heart of Glass (St Helens), The Atkinson (Sefton), Williamson Art Gallery & Museum (Wirral), Knowsley Galleries & Museums (Knowsley), Contemporary Visual Arts Network North West (CVAN NW) and Metal Liverpool (Liverpool). Funded by Arts Council England, Liverpool City Council, Contemporary Visual Arts Network North West (CVAN NW) and the above partners.
