Sefton Council has asked Make. to launch a new call for ideas to inspire the ‘Build Back Better’ ethos sweeping the country, as part of its Borough of Culture 2020 programme.
The Bootle Festival of Ideas has six themed sessions across September, a mixture of online and offline activities – to inspire people to think about their ideas.
They’ll then work alongside the Kindred team to support people to develop their ideas, which are then put forward for a share of a £6k development fund.
They’ll also be asking local people what they’d like to see in the area, creating citizen-led impetus for change, which will be recorded and displayed in an eye-catching new temporary artwork.
