The annual Fun Palaces weekend is taking place 2-4 October… And this year they are aiming for 1000 TINY Fun Palaces.
This year’s Fun Palaces may look a bit different to previous years. They will be tinier (a Fun Palace with two or three people is still a Fun Palace!), they might happen in unusual places (a balcony, pavement, a park, on windows, on in a wheelbarrow), but as ever, Fun Palaces are a chance for people to connect with each other, to share a skill, and hopefully some joy.
You can find lots of information and resources on making a Tiny Fun Palace in the 1000 Tiny Fun Palaces section of their website.
They are pleased to share the first in a series of specially commissioned artworks, which will explore how connection in community can help contribute to a more equal, inclusive, and generous society. Some food for thought as we count-down toward Fun Palaces weekend.
