The purpose of the survey is to ascertain the scale of issues relating to support for Creative Freelancers working in Liverpool and Liverpool City Region.
These include:
1/ Gaps and barriers in existing support
2/ Impact on the local economy
3/ The resources required to address the issues
All submissions will be confidential and no individuals identified in the analysis.The anonymised information will be used to report to Liverpool City Council, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and to Government.
The data will not be used or shared in any other way.
In this context CREATIVE means employed in the Creative Industries as defined by DCMS:
1/ Museums, Libraries, and Galleries;
2/ Marketing, and Advertising;
3/ Product Design, Fashion Design, and Graphic Design;
4/ Architecture;
5/ Crafts;
6/ TV, Video, Photography, Film, and Radio;
7/ Publishing;
8/ Software, and Computer Services;
9/ Music, Performing, and Visual Arts.
They are including creative practitioners working in community, education and associated sectors in this survey.

- Self-employed or are part of other companies
- Look after their own tax and National Insurance contributions (NICs)
