Curious Minds and The Atkinson, Southport are looking for a creative and motivated young person aged 18 – 25 to help with the planning and development of a fundraising pack to promote our collection to potential supporters.
They would love to hear from people who feel they are ready for a new challenge and have an interest in gaining a unique work experience opportunity.
During this six-month placement, the Fundraising and Communications Assistant will develop a unique “Adopt the Collection” fundraising pack.
This fantastic opportunity is an exciting, newly created role where the successful candidate will work closely with their collections team, marketing team and their Charitable Trust. They will gain valuable and practical experience while utilising their own skills to create a new resource and will gain experience in leading on a project through from inception and creation through to delivery.
This placement will be critical in helping them to develop a new resource.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Creating an exciting new resource to encourage supporters to engage with their collections
- Working collaboratively with staff in their museum, their marketing team and their charitable trust to deliver a project which will be used to generate income
- Presenting their collections (art and artefacts), through creative photography, eye-catching graphics via a clear marketing campaign on social media
