Cartwheel Arts are seeking two Project Assistants, the placements will be a mixture of home and office work.
The roles are 25 hours per week at National Minimum wage (currently £6.45 per hour for 18-20 year olds and £8.20 for 21-24 year olds) plus employer pension contribution (8%) which there is currently no obligation to match. Plus 30 days holiday (pro rata).
The project is funded for 6 months by the DWP as part of their Kickstart scheme so is only open to applicants age 18 – 24 years who are in receipt of Universal Credit and at risk of long term unemployment.

They are particularly interested in receiving applications from those currently underrepresented in the arts sector, including racially diverse applicants and applicants from low socio-economic backgrounds.
Please note: due to COVID-19, interviews will take place via Zoom. Applicants who are invited to interview stage will be asked if they need computer and internet access, which they can provide.
The placement is likely to be a mixture of home-based and attending sessions so a laptop will be provided for the duration of the placement to the successful applicants.
