This is an assistant role working directly with our General Manager and Marketing and Communications coordinator on a variety of administrative tasks including;
Marketing
- Supporting the Marketing and Communications Coordinator with regular posts across social media platforms
- Working with the artistic team to gather material for newsletters
- Working with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator to deliver marketing plans for events promotion and recruitment
- Ensuring that press contacts are up to date
- Extending our social media networks
- Recording monthly digital and social media statistics
Administration
- Working across the team to support the maintaining of registers and databases and making sure contacts are up to date
- Undertaking research tasks
- Supporting the creation of physical and digital content
- Maintaining contact with participants were appropriate including emailing reminders about session times and posting resources if necessary
- Supporting the team with Zoom or MS Teams when delivering online events both internal and public.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Basic computer literacy, including MS word and excel
- An understanding of a variety of social media platforms in particular Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Experience with video communication, in particular Zoom
- Experience using cloud based sharing platforms like Dropbox and Google Drive
- Excellent time management and the ability to manage own time, particularly when working remotely
- Strong communication skills
