This September, an exciting new work called Aurora offers a completely unique opportunity to not only see inside one of Liverpool’s most exciting heritage spaces in Toxteth, but to become part of an ever-changing artwork which focuses on water.
Audiences will be able to step inside the cave-like vaults of Toxteth Reservoir for a 40-minute ‘walk on water’. Flowing through dark chambers and between towering iron arches water surrounds, floods and falls around you, both beautiful and unsettling.
Volunteering
FACT are looking for volunteers to work as part of the Front of House and setup teams for this project from 18 Sept – 7 Oct.
By volunteering, you will be a vital part of a one-off installation. You will greet visitors and guide them through their journey, and working with both the FACT team and Invisible Flock, learn more about the work and it’s background, to ensure everyone’s experience is a memorable one.
For more information including how to apply please go here. Alternatively email volunteer@fact.co.uk, putting the title of the email as AURORA.
If you have any questions at all, please email Cathryn on cathryn.peach-barnes@fact.co.uk.
