Bido Lito! is looking for two multimedia enthusiasts to help bring alive the pages of the magazine online.
Are you an aspiring podcaster? Emerging film maker? Burgeoning animator? If you are passionate about new music and creative culture in Liverpool and want to make the pages of Bido Lito! come alive online we want to hear from you.
With help from Youth Music’s Incubator Fund there are placements open for two 16-25 year olds to work on Bido Lito!’s digital content as part of a 6-month programme with the magazine. Young people who can demonstrate original, well-executed ideas on multimedia platforms will be in with a chance of gaining a place.
Not only will the two team members be revolutionising the output of Bido Lito! but they will also receive a 6-month mentoring package with experienced young professionals and masterclasses from industry leaders.
The role will be shaped by the participants themselves with help from the Bido Lito! team. Participants can choose the media with which they work using the core magazine content as a jump-off point for audio, film, or graphic interpretations which will be broadcast to Bido Lito! followers online. This could be in the form of podcasts, filmed interviews or live sessions, animated graphics or other ideas you bring to the pink table.
The Youth Music Incubator Fund is designed to help open up access to sustainable careers in music for people aged 18-25, particularly those who are underrepresented; and to support creative employers to innovate and incubate new and diverse talent. Applications to the the Bido Lito! Digital Content Creators programme are encouraged from those from underrepresented backgrounds.
The placement is salaried as two people will spend six months embedded in the Bido Lito! team generating ideas and producing quality content for Bido Lito! audiences.
