BBC Studios are currently producing an exciting new television series which they’re hoping will help to support our much-loved UK wedding industry.
Over the last year the industry has been particularly hard hit by the pandemic, with uncertainty still looming over the livelihoods of many. They’re keen to shine the spotlight on the backbone of the industry, and the event planners who against the odds, help to make the dreams of couples come true.
**At the moment they’re currently trying to do a push for creatives, designers, and entrepreneurs who might be new to the wedding industry and looking to elevate their career, or people looking for a new career challenge.**
The Series:
‘Master of Ceremonies (working title)’ is a new competition-based television series which will showcase the extraordinary talent of UK wedding planners. Planners will be tasked with pulling off the dreams of some of Britain’s most deserving couples, producing precious memories that will last a lifetime. Each week they will be provided with a specific brief and budget to deliver an unforgettable masterpiece, whilst being judged by our industry-leading judges and the couples themselves.
The series will be warm and celebratory in tone and will provide viewers with some insight into the remarkable skillset of wedding planners. They are currently looking for up and coming Wedding and Event Planners to take part in this six-part television series which will be filmed during August-October 2021. Planners will be competing for a money-can’t buy prize.
***As well as event planners who are already established in the industry, they’re also looking for creatives with a great eye and flair, who can elevate a wedding beyond the norm but who might not have years of direct experience behind them. So if wedding planning has always been a dream of yours, or you’ve recently planned your own wedding and think you have what it takes to break into the industry, then this is the show for you! ***
Their Request:
They are keen to spread word of this opportunity to Wedding and Event Planners across the country. If this sounds like something you’d love to be a part of or you would like more information, please do get in touch.
