The team are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and community-minded individual to support a 6 month long Town Centre animation project in St Helens.
You will be working within a robust and experienced team at Night Time Economy Solutions Ltd who are running this project to support economic recovery and cultural activity within St Helens and Earlestown Town Centres.
What they are looking for
They are looking for someone with strong local links to support them in this project and preferably someone who lives/works or has lived/ worked in St Helens or Earlestown.
They are looking for someone available 1 day per month to:
- Manage a cultural Hub space during 3 programmed festival Saturdays in August, October and December 2021. Exact hours tbc, likely 10am-7pm.
- Engage in community discussions and creative activities in the Hub space, offering a touch-point for passing public to engage in discussions about what they’d like to see in the region.
- Liaise with local community organisations to build relationships and maximise engagement.
Period of work
The position is freelance, and working hours are flexible except for the festival days. We expect approximately 1 day/ Month July-November, totalling 5 days engagement for community liaison work and 3 days engagement running the community hub space on festival Saturdays.
