The Shakespeare North Playhouse is a unique new arts venue, opening in the summer of 2022. It will present a vibrant contemporary cultural and learning programme featuring home co-produced and visiting performances, as well as comedy, music, community work, hire and events and a range of education and training activities.
They are looking for two individuals with least 2 years producing and/or delivery experience of creative learning opportunities to support the Learning Programme for this inspiring new venture, focusing on delivering a programme of events, social engagement and out-reach programmes and delivering opportunities for learning.
The jobholders will report directly to Evonne Bixter, Head of Engagement for Shakespeare North Trust and be a key member of the Culture and Learning team at Shakespeare North Playhouse, led by Laura Collier, Creative Director and Programmer.
The full-time contracted hours of work are 40 per week. However, due to the nature of this role, flexibility will be required particularly around the event programme. Shakespeare North is committed to achieving a happy and effective workforce and will give consideration to any flexible working arrangement, providing that the requirements of the role can be delivered to a high standard.
The full-time salary for this role is circa £23,000 based on relevant skills and experience.
