Looking for a podcast / audio producer to join their project team for The Political History of Smack & Crack to create mini-audio series (4 episodes) that explores the social and political circumstances that were the backdrop to the civil uprisings across the UK in 1981, as well as the personal and social impacts of the resultant narcotics epidemic.
As the mini-series producer, you will:
– Engage in research and contact persons of interest
– Establish technical support and manage partners & guest bookings
– Support the presenter on script content & direction
– Manage recording, editing & delivery of the audio content, ensuring high-quality output
– Have the ability to work flexibly
– Report to the lead producer
To be the mini-series producer, you’ll likely have:
– Previous experience working on / producing podcasts or audio content
– Audio editing skills
– Passion for telling social and political stories
What Does It Pay
Pay is £1500 on a fixed-term, flexible contract starting mid-March until end of project (expected end of June) approximately 10 days work.
