The team are looking for someone with a flair for building relationships to help grow audiences for two of Manchester’s largest theatres.
In this varied role at the Palace and Opera House Theatres in Manchester’s city centre, you’ll help us build our profile, welcome back audiences, re-establish our reputation and create new links with our local community.
You’ll deliver creative communications plans, working closely with the theatres’ dedicated Marketing and Communications team to develop effective all-round campaigns.
You’ll need to have excellent people and presentation skills, to collaborate with producers, promoters and agencies and ensure they achieve their sales targets and PR goals. You’ll play a key role in managing our media profile, combining inventive digital marketing techniques with traditional advertising opportunities to help us reach the largest possible audiences.

The Palace Theatre & Opera House are stunning large-scale historic theatres located at the heart of Manchester city centre. They host work from leading UK and international producers, enabling the most spectacular West End and Broadway shows to visit the North West, alongside drama, classical and contemporary dance, live music, comedy and one-night specials.
The theatres host around 650 performances each year with longer runs of major musicals mixed with week-long tours and one-night shows. They work increasingly in partnership with producers to open new shows or launch national tours.
