Our ideal candidate is someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the media, digital marketing or creative sector. Whilst experience in an arts organisation is not essential, it would be a distinct advantage.
They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detail and well developed editing and proof-reading skills and a high level of IT literacy. They will be able to demonstrate their ability to create and commission effective and targeted multimedia content, including text, photography and video.
They will have the ability to adapt to different and sometimes unexpected situations, and be able to work to tight and sometimes changing deadlines, remaining calm under pressure. They will have the ability to work well as part of a team, but they will also be able to work on their own initiative if the situation demands.
They will have a good understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion, and a commitment to ensuring that Heart of Glass’s collaborators and audiences are representative of the community in which it operates and 21st century Britain as a whole. Whilst not essential, a knowledge of St Helens, Knowsley and the surrounding Liverpool City Region would be an advantage.
