The Shakespeare North Playhouse is a unique new arts venue, opening in the summer of 2022. It will present a vibrant contemporary cultural and learning programme featuring home co-produced and visiting performances, as well as comedy, music, community work, hire and events and a range of education and training activities.
They are looking for two Visitor Experience Managers who will have responsibility for day-to-day delivery of a seamless visit for all audiences and customers, ensuring the customer journey encourages repeat visits and brand loyalty.
Overseeing Visitor Experience staff the VE Managers will lead the teams that welcome audiences into the building as well as running the front of house, ticketing and tours. The Visitor Experience teams/volunteers will be multi-skilled across our FOH areas and will work in a variety of capacities – welcoming visitors, selling tickets and ushering shows and events.
The post-holders will report to the Head of Visitor Experience for Shakespeare North Trust and will have responsibility for Visitor Experience Supervisors, Visitor Experience Assistants and on shift-volunteers. Visitor Experience Managers will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and team.
Shakespeare North’s full-time employees work a 40-hour week normally over 5 days.
Due to the nature of this role, however, and to meet the demands of the building, the post holders will need to be flexible in their approach to work. Evening and weekend work will be required at times.
The full-time salary will be up to £26,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
