Beginners Flower Arranging

Join Make for a 3 part workshop to learn to create simple, yet effective floral designs for your home. Would you like to learn to create simple, yet effective floral designs for your home? Louise and Debbie of Utopia Creations are Chelsea gold medallists in floral design and are passionate about sharing their ideas and techniques for beautiful, environmentally sustainable flower arranging. During the 3 part course you will learn flower arranging techniques, an outline of the principles and elements of design and also have the opportunity to make accessories to enhance your arrangements. The course will run on 3 consecutive Wednesday evenings: 25th May, 1st June & 8th June 2022. Each week you will have a completed design to take home. Week 1 – Simple vase design. Bring a vase of your choice (min height 25cm, max height 60cm, and shape) and you will be shown how to create an arrangement with a reusable rattan stem holder. Week 2 – Vertical design. You will learn how to create a vertical arrangement using a midolino sphere. Week 3 – A design using Agra wool. You will shown how to create a design using this new 100% natural and biodegradable product. All flowers, foliage, materials and accessories will be provided each week (apart from the vase in week one).
