Merseyside Expanding Horizon is pleased to present the Free Training for empowering families and community within the frame of the RADart Project that will take place the 7th and 15th June 2022.
The Training will take place at The Big Onion, 116-118 The Palatine, Strand Shopping Centre, Bootle, L20 4SU
They would love to invite family members and members of the wider community.
RADart project is promoted by our organisation in partnership with Town Hall Kostryzn nad Odra (Poland), Osservatorio di Genere (Italy), Le Foyer des Jeunes des Marolles (Belgium), Élan Interculturel (France) and it is co-funded by Erasmus + Programme of European Union.
Through a successful cooperation, the partnership was able to develop methodologies to improve the competences of youth workers underlying how crucial ART can be if used as a vehicle to prevent the risk of radicalisation.
At this stage of the Project, the goal is to raise awareness of the risks of extremism and radicalisation among family members and communities through accessible guidelines. These guidelines forecasts to:
- Recognise social roots of the problem
- Enable early interventions
- Promote non-coercive solutions
- Develop an early warning system for emerging conflicts and grievances.
The Training attempts to illustrate the results achieved so far, their research and solutions.
