CHIO CHIO

Chio Chio tells the story of a village in the middle of a Latin American rain forest where a beautiful bird of paradise lives. Chio Chio sings the most beautiful songs until she can sing no more. Two young villagers are tasked with travelling to the other end of the rainforest to ask the keeper of the forest for help to get Chio Chio’s voice back. Throughout their journey, they meet amazing characters and face a number of difficult challenges. Chio Chio is a puppet show with live music and an incredibly colourful, magical set made of recycled materials, and tackles themes such as environmental responsibility, diversity, identity, and finding your own voice.
