People are at the heart of National Museums Liverpool. Colleagues from across the NML team make a difference every day, creating memorable experiences for everyone and challenging expectations.
They pride themselves on being a place for everyone, but they are always aiming higher, aspiring to be representative of the communities they serve. Through people, they are building a culture which embeds trust, respect and inclusion and an organisation in which people are engaged and empowered to enable National Museums Liverpool to evolve. You could be just the right person to join them.
They currently have the post(s) of Aquarist available.
As an Aquarist at World Museum Liverpool you will work with and care for a wide variety of marine and terrestrial animals in our Bug House and newly refurbished Aquarium. You will receive full training in a range of animal care, plant room maintenance and water chemistry protocols.
As someone who is passionate about nature you will also work with our visitors to deliver fun and educational activities based on our live animal collection. This role would be suited to someone who is excited by animals and has a keen eye for detail as well as outgoing and creative. You will join their dedicated team to create displays that inspire their visitors interest in the natural world.
