Christmas at The Athenaeum

Artsgroupie CIC, and The Athenaeum have teamed up for a special celebration of traditional festive entertainment. For those who enjoy that nostalgic Christmas feeling, the public are invited to a unique festive event to mark the beginning of December and the Yuletide celebrations. A unique evening of recreation in the historical surroundings of The Athenaeum, a 225 year-old private members club, founded in 1797 by prominent Liverpudlians of the day. Feelings of festivity couldn’t be more heightened than in this setting of Roaring Twenties aesthetics at 12-18 Church Alley. The team will present a personally selected collection of well-known poems, stories and carols to share, a cornucopia of festive joy.
