Fee: £15ph (approximately 140 hours or 20 days) plus £300 to cover travel costs towards a visit to artist Carrie’s London-based studio.

This is an exciting opportunity to be mentored by renowned ceramics artist Carrie Reichardt, while she develops a new project called Strong Women with Heart of Glass over the next year.

Through this mentorship you will:
Gain knowledge and expertise in all stages of ceramics work from design to install
Develop your practice, working with communities across St Helens and Knowsley
Learn about the process of producing a large scale public artwork
Have the opportunity to visit Carrie’s studio and work with her on the production of the artwork
Gain new skills in gathering oral histories and researching the heritage of a place
