Senior Arts in Libraries Officer – St Helens Borough Council, closes 25 Jun

This post is responsible for the operational management of the St Helens Library Service, Arts Council England (ACE) National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) programme of work, delivering the programme to the SMART objectives set out in the NPO Activity Plan and NPO Investment Principles Plan.

They are looking for someone with knowledge and understanding of excellence and diversity in the arts and an understanding of the importance of libraries within communities and the role that arts can play within libraries.
You will have project management experience of delivering successful arts programmes and you will have experience of managing and developing staff.

In line with their new ways of working, this role is hybrid and will involve working from home as well as working across St Helens Libraries as required. There is also an opportunity to work from their agile hubs in St Helens Town Centre.

The post is 37 hours per week.

This post is temporary until 31st March 2026 and its continuation is dependent upon securing further funding from Arts Council England.
