This autumn, you can sign up for a FREE one-day Write to Work Bootcamp where you can take part in a number of interactive workshop sessions, led by professional writers such as Amina Atiq, Blue Saint, Ginni Manning and Jess Green.
Write to Work is a FREE course for unemployed residents from the Liverpool City Region, looking to gain confidence in their writing skills and meet a creative community.
We will be running multiple Write to Work Bootcamps in September and October 2023!
The bootcamps will be taking place in the Liverpool City Region. Spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis. Please read through the information below and apply to the course you wish to attend.
Write to Work Bootcamp 18-24yrs
Wednesday 6 September at Future Yard, 75 Argyle St, Birkenhead CH41 6AB
October bootcamp TBC
This is exclusively for 18-24 year olds where you’ll get the chance to learn more about:
- Writing for Games Design
- Writing for Social Media
- From Page to Stage
Write to Work Bootcamp 25+yrs – Starting Sept/Oct 2023
Take part in a number of interactive workshop sessions with professional writers and explore the writing options open to you.
Applicant MUST read full Eligibility below before applying.
- You must be currently unemployed (we cannot accept registered as self-employed, or in full-time education or university).
- You must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
- You must currently live in the Liverpool City Region, including the parts of the Wirral listed as Merseyside, Liverpool, Sefton, Halton, St Helens, Knowsley.
- You must be 18 years+
- You cannot have already completed any Write to Work Course or mentoring previously.
- If you are being supported by another organisation or charity that is part of the Direction LCR partnership, or The New Horizons ESF programme, unfortunately you are not eligible to apply for Write to Work.
