You’ll be responsible for the successful and safe operation of their unique cultural venues.
You will lead visitor experience teams to ensure venues look great for audiences, from the warm welcome they receive to the fond farewell – and everything in between.
Operating independently as the responsible Duty Manager on-site, you’ll be overseeing everything front-of-the-house and play an essential part in the daily checks required to operate a safe working environment. From ensuring the highest standards of presentation and customer service to investigating and supporting teams with health, safety, security and maintenance related issues.
Job Responsibilities
As a key holder you will be responsible for opening and locking up duties, ensuring processes are followed to preserve the safety and security of venues and collections.
You will be responsible for carrying out full site checks to ensure venues look and function in great order. You will monitor and make checks regarding health, safety, security and facilities, reporting any issues and escalating emergencies and urgent issues where necessary.
You will be a first aider, fire incident controller and be trained in the use of a throw line. You will ensure the health, safety and security of visitors, staff, volunteers and contractors while on site.
You will ensure front of house staff are fully equipped and trained to carry out their roles. You will lead daily morning briefings and dedicate time to supporting team members with focused training and disseminating information.
